Do you offer same-day appointments?
Yes! We believe that dental care should be convenient, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to schedule a same-day visit. Salling & Tate always keeps slots open for emergencies and patients experiencing pain, so call us immediately if this is the case.
What can I expect at my first visit?
Our team is dedicated to providing top-notch dental care, and we put special emphasis on building relationships with our patients and treating each patient based on individual needs. Your initial visit can range in time between an hour to an hour and a half, depending on if you are coming in for a routine check-up or because of a specific problem. We utilize this time to get to know you, gather data/x-rays, educate you about your oral health needs and specific treatment options, and, of course, answer any questions you have!
How often should I see a dentist?
The American Dental Association recommends scheduling a dental check-up every six months with x-rays annually to help with early detection in order to prevent minor issues from escalating into more serious concerns. Some of our patients require a shorter time interval between cleanings due to chronic gum problems, but that is something that is determined on a patient-by-patient basis. Whether your last appointment was six months or six years ago, we’re here and ready to help!
